Testing. Testing. Is this thing on?
2011, and I find myself back in Texas. Back in the triple-digit heat that I actually missed while in Vancouver. Out in the sunshine is where I like to be, except when I'm on the computer, transforming ideas into websites.
I enjoy designing websites because it allows me to have fun and play with colors (Finger painting is great fun too-but it doesn't seem to pay the bills!). A good website needs strong and memorable design while emphasizing accessibility and the user experience. Since 2007, I've been actively creating for the web- both in design and front-end development. My experience includes working one-on-one with small business owners to create their first web presence- to collaboration with agency development teams rolling out new ideas for established companies.
My designs work to organize your information in a way that portrays your style, while capturing the attention of your audience. Inspiration for my work comes in many forms.... photography: classic B&W, breathtaking HDR, and surreal images like Uelsmann. Nature is an inexhaustible gallery of colors that I constantly shop. And of course the adventures of daily life-all the new people and new places-are always fueling creative output.
Random Trivia
I am an INTJ and Scorpio. I can bake a mean apple pie. I know about 50 words in Spanish, and hope to learn at least that many in Mandarin. I can probably beat you at Scrabble, and can definitely beat you at TextTwist. I'm the 2nd of 4 children. I would like to travel to all 7 continents (or at least 6!). I walk fast and like to play frisbee.

Planning Your Education offers consulting services to plan educational goals. Their previous web site did not match the professional nature of their business. With the redesign we focused on making information easily accessable and using images to focus the viewer's attention. The new design has a clean and professional style, inline with this company's services.

Across these 15 different brands, I led the front-end development of the websites, mobile sites, and facebook pages.
