After living in Austin, Texas for seven years I've just moved to Vancouver, BC. I enjoy the eclectic blend of indoors and outdoors, something Vancouver and Austin are both able to accommodate. I am a dog lover, and have two Boston Terriers who also love their new city.
I enjoy designing websites because it allows me to have fun and play with colors (Finger painting is great fun too—but it doesn't seem to pay the bills!). A good website needs strong and memorable design while emphasizing accessability, and I think that my sites speak for themselves in that regard. I have been freelancing since 2007—I've really enjoyed my clients, and the creative flexibility they've given me. However, I am also interested in permanenent opportunities where I can bring new ideas, collaborate with creative-minded people, and contribute to a casual environment that can hit deadlines and have fun while doing it.
My designs work to organize your information in a way that portrays your style, while capturing the attention of your audience. Inspiration for my work comes in many forms.... Photography: classic B&W, breathtaking HDR, and surreal images like Uelsmann. Nature is an inexhaustible gallery of colors that I constantly shop. And of course the adventures of daily life—all the new people and new places—are always fueling creative output.
